Posted on

Brittas Bay South Beach is one of the most popular beaches in Wicklow. It has a 5 km stretch of beautiful white sand dunes and has won and maintained the Blue Flag for many years now. It is ideal for bathing, sailing and walking.

Brittas Bay’s sand dune system is a designated area of significant interest as it is home to many interesting wildlife species and plants.

This beach is a lifeguard patrolled during the bathing season.

On-site facilities include public toilets and car parks.

Dogs are allowed on the beach but must be on a lead and under the strict supervision of the owner. Owners must clean up after their dogs.
